Robert Lowe Newman

 Robert Lowe Newman, May 15, 1968 – December 10, 2016 in Blount County, TN

The happiest day of Rob’s life was the day his daughter Emily Cottrell Newman was born, August 21, 1999. This day was second only to the day he and Kirsten Berg were married. Rob loved his wife and daughter with all his heart. Unfortunately Kirsten lost her life to cancer and passed on May 3, 2001. She remained the  love of his life and he never remarried.

At Rob’s passing, he was survived by his daughter Emily and mother, Patricia Newman. Rob’s father, Bobby Frank Newman passed away in 1975. 

TSgt Newman served his country from 1986 to 2010 and was an awesome soldier with a top secret security clearance and a chest full of medals. Some of which include:

• Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards

• Air Reserves Forces Meritorious Service Medals
