Evelyn Jones Leach

Evelyn Jones Leach, age 91, of Farragut passed away Saturday evening, January 21, 2017 at NHC Cavette Hill. Evelyn was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. Her first love was always her family and being with them. Evelyn was an avid bridge player and was involved in three different bridge clubs. She attended the University of Tennessee and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was a devoted U T football fan and supporter. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Victor M. Jr. (Vic) Leach Jr; parents, Roscoe Phillip Jones and Lelia Robertson Jones; brother, Robert Keith Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hunter and husband, Graham; sons, Sonny Leach and wife, Peggy, Phil Leach and wife, Donna, Lee Leach and wife, Susan; grandchildren Chris Leach, Andee Guthrie, Graham Hunter II, Courtney Mize, Craig Leach, Carrie Rowland and Ben Rowland; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Concord United Methodist Church, 11020 Roane Drive, Farragut with Rev. Larry Trotter, Rev. Buddy Sexton and Rev. Chad Mize officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Forest Cemetery in Farragut. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Chicago, Illinois 60611-3201.
