Died: May 15, 1942 Jack Starkey (full name Luther Edward “Jack” Starkey) was born on September 8, 1892 and died May 15, 1942. He was the son of Samuel Griffith Starkey and Nancy Beulah (Marley) Starkey and the husband of Callie (Engle) Starkey.He enlisted in the Army on August 6, 1918 in World War I, and was discharged from Company A, 93rd Engineers as a Sgt. First Class on July 14, 1919.
