McKenzie Erin Scott, age 27, of Farragut passed away Friday morning, June 4, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center after long battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
McKenzie attended St John Neumann Catholic Church. She was graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School and was nine hours short of obtaining her Bachelor Degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee. McKenzie competed in several triathlons, enjoyed golf, swimming, cooking and loved her two dogs Dixie and Nova.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Frederick J. Scott. McKenzie is survived by her parents, Bob and Penny Scott of Farragut; grandmother, Joan Scott; uncles and aunts, Richard and Sherri Scott of Bonita Beach, Florida, Susan and Dave Perkins of Alexandria, Alabama; several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Milestones Event Center next door to the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel, 11915 Kingston Pike.
Private graveside services will be held on Saturday at Pleasant Forest Cemetery with Father Joe Reed officiating.
