DELCOUR, STEVEN KURT - age 75, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at UT Medical Center. He was a very active member and deacon of Concord Presbyterian Church. Kurt was a loving and devoted husband, father and Poppy. He retired from Oak Ridge Y-12 and K-25. Kurt loved travelling throughout the world with his wife. He was a kind, loving man who enjoyed time with his friends and especially his family. Kurt was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alene DelCour. He is survived by his wife, Shirley DelCour, with whom he would have been celebrating 57 years of marriage on Sunday, February 9th; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Danny White; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Gail DelCour; grandchildren, Lindsey, Brittany, Erin, Ashlynn; great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Elijah, Zaibree, Isaac and Tanner; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Bill Bowman. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:45 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014, with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Rev. David Webster and Dr. Kenneth Gates will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Forest Cemetery for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Presbyterian Church, 11000 Second Drive, Concord, TN 37934.
